About the Event
May is the floweriest time of year. We start the month of with May Day, watching kiddos with floral crowns run ribbons around the pole and then we launch right into Mother's Day, where flowers are absolutely integral to the celebration.
None of this is by accident of course! The flowers are coming into their full selves and celebrations of motherhood, fertility and love are a natural complement to their beauty, and their symbolism. And no family represents all of this than better the the beautiful blooms of the rose family.
More than just the roses we plant in our yards, this fragrant and delicious group of herbs encompasses so many of our favorite plants from strawberries to black cherry to hawthorn to our incredible local multiflora rose, each with gorgeous blossoms coming into fullness in May. Please come join us this month as we discuss this amazing family of plants, talk about how to identify them, how to use them, what makes them similar and what makes them unique.
We have so many ways to join class! Live class will be held at the Skä•noñh Great Law of Peace Center in Liverpool. Class is still $10, and 25% of the proceed from class will go to benefit the center and support their mission. You can still join us on the liverstream or simply a buy a recording if you prefer! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
