SHSG January 2023: Oils, Creams and Salves

Welcome back to a new year of Syracuse Herbal Study Group classes! We hope you enjoyed your holiday season and are excited to delve back into our learning with a hands-on medicine making experience.

Infused oils are effective, easy to make and versatile medicines that lend themselves well to further formulation into salves, creams and lotions. In this month's class, we will review the basics of oil and salve making while doing an actual real-life demo of cream creation.

We will also review when using external remedies is appropriate, which herbs lend themselves well to this sort of preparation and how to choose the "water parts" vs the "oil parts" of a cream.

This class has a cap of 10 live participants so please RSVP early!  Class this month is $15 to cover the cost of materials for you to take home.
