Barter & Trade
The American healthcare landscape is shifting. With the future of Medicaid & Medicare not secure, insurance costs increasing and quality care still out of reach for so many, Circles of Sage is proud to roll out its Barter & Trade Program. Now, qualifying patients can get their visits covered by exchanging the out-of-pocket cost for the financial equivalent in work, barter or trade.
Patient Qualifications
In order to qualify for the Barter & Trade Program, patients must meet the following qualifications:
1. You must not qualify for an insurance-covered visit at the time of your appointment (if we take your insurance at the time of your visit and you are seeking an insurance-covered visit type, you must use your insurance by law.
2. A legal agreement signed by both parties (patient and provider) must be signed prior to a visit being scheduled or barter being carried out.
3. All agreed upon work, barter and/or trade responsibilities must be completed before the date of the scheduled visit or the visit will be postponed.

Keep in mind that spots will fluctuate based on need & financial feasibility, and patient qualification is not a guarantee of entry into the program. Final determination is at the discretion of Circles of Sage and its staff.
Examples of potential service options might include (but are not limited to) gardening, cleaning, driving, body/hair care or handyman work.
Examples of potential material barter options might include food, clothing, household goods or crafts.
