Because patients have different needs, we have different ways of accessing care. Please scroll through the options below to learn more about how we might be able to team up on your health journey. We're all about transparency here, so you will also find details about billing below as well.

1-Hour Initial Consult with Insurance

This is our most popular option, and it allows you to come see us with your insurance.

Things to Consider:

Due to limitations in the insurance system, each visit cannot exceed 1 hour. For very medically complex patients, multiple follow ups will be needed to get through the intake process. This may require frequent trips to the office, especially if your insurance doesn't cover telemed visits.

Currently, the only insurances that we can accept are Medicare, Medicaid and Aetna. Due to unexpected delays, we cannot give an exact date when we will be ready to accept other payers but since everything should be ready by 4/1/26, get on the April schedule now.

3-Hour Initial Consult Out of Pocket

Sometimes, its easier to patients to come in for longer stretches of time to progress can be made quickly, efficiently and without interruption for all brains involved. Longer visits allow us to get further in depth, going through symptoms head-to-toe until no stone is left unturned.

Things to Consider:

Due to limitations in the insurance system, longer visits are not covered. These are billed at $750 for 3 hours of time. Patients are able to book a longer visit at any point, and then alternate back to insurance-covered visits if desired.

1-3 Hour Coaching Telemed Session

Care for complex medical conditions and botanical medicine can be difficult to find. We understand this, and have added this option for our out-of-state friends who would like to access us for telemedicine sessions.

Things to Consider:

If you are conducting a telemedicine visit with us outside of New York State, we are limited by law in diagnosing, ordering, referring or prescribing on your behalf. Therefore, these visits do not constitute official medical advice and are for educational purposes only. These visits are billed out of pocket at $250/hour.

What to Expect:

An opportunity to review your concerns with a expert coach and advocate through telemedicine. After the visit, you will receive a detailed note with suggestions and guidance on where to go next with your care, support for questions and concerns and the opportunity for continued follow up.

what if you don't accept my insurance?

if you are looking for a standard medical visit and would like to use insurance but yours is not listed, we have several options. First, please click the box below to see if you qualify for our Barter & Trade program. You can also email us at circlesofsageny@gmail.com to discuss self-pay options, which are billed at lower rates than the out-of-state rate listed above.

what if you take my insurance but its not in bold on the list above?

If I am planning on taking your insurance but have not yet received the go-ahead from them at the time you want to schedule, you have two options: you can pay out of pocket, or you can wait until your company sends me approval. The projected timeline for most insurances has been delayed, but we are hoping that all payers will be ready by April 1st, 2026, so get on the schedule now. does my insurance require a referral to come see you?

because my practice is considered part of the family medicine umbrella, most insurance companies will not require a referral to book a visit and have it covered. however, every insurance company is different. it is the patient's responsibility to contact their insurance company and see what is required in order to have their visit with me covered.
