what if you don't accept my insurance?
if you are looking for a standard medical visit and would like to use insurance but yours is not listed, please send a message. we have sliding scale and payment plan options available. standard medical visits are billed the at the out-of-pocket Medicare rates, not the higher hourly rates for longer visits. please, if finances are keeping you from joining us, reach out.

If you take my insurance do I have to use it?
Yes. If I take your insurance, you live in NYS and you are looking for a standard-length visit, you must go through insurance by law.
what if you take my insurance but its not in bold on the list above?
If I am planning on taking your insurance but have not yet received the go-ahead from them at the time you want to schedule, you have two options: you can pay out of pocket, or you can wait until your company sends me approval. The projected timeline for most insurances is still January, but I cannot guarantee that currently. If you have questions about financial options, please click here.
does my insurance require a referral to come see you?
because my practice is considered part of the family medicine umbrella, most insurance companies will not require a referral to book a visit and have it covered. however, every insurance company is different. it is the patient's responsibility to contact their insurance company and see what is required in order to have their visit with me covered.
