SHSG April 2022: Spring Tonic Vinegars!

This month we welcome again herbalist Amanda Wells for another great medicine making workshop, just in time to start working with some of our favorite CNY Spring herbs!

Spring is here and it's the perfect time for a herbal-infused vinegar tonic. We will make a vinegar tonic with burdock root, dandelion root, and nettle leaf in this workshop. We will discuss how to make vinegar infusions and their advantages. We will briefly go over the concept of "alterative" as well, since so many of our Spring plants are part of this energetic category, helping us to clear our bodies of Winter stagnation. 

Class is $15 and includes supplies. A reminder that masks are still mandatory at Syracuse Herbal Study Group events, regardless of vaccination status. Zoom link will be sent out the day of, and class recordings go out to all participants within the week.
