SHSG Aug Plant Walk 2021

Summer is racing by, but that just means we're closer to another great plant walk. This month, we team up with Jon Harshbarger of the Woodlander Folk School in Pompey to present a farm walk!

Farms are really cool spots to scope out plants because there are often so many different types of landscapes that coalesce into one really magical place. Please join us as we scout the edges, fields, pastures and yards for plants to identify, discuss, get to know and share.

Oh, and if you are not familiar to what Jon is upto over there at the school, I strongly encourage you to check out his work, and expect more collaborations in the future :)

To find Woodlander: 1874 Rt. 91 Pompey, NY. You will go up a very, very long drive. Please park along the upper part of the driveway and walk up to the house where we will meet.

Bring your guidebooks, questions, stories and experience. Closed toed shoes and pants are strongly suggested. Masks are not mandatory but social distancing will be enforced as the Delta variant gains steam in out area.
