About the Event
Hi everyone and welcome to our next class on Anatomy, Physiology & Herbal Procotols - an up close look at the cardiovascular system!
During this month's class we will begin with a foundational discussion about how the heart works, the role of blood vessels, and the basics of the heart's relationship with other organs such as the liver and the lungs. We will explore the energetic qualities of common cardiovascular pathologies and imbalances, as well as in depth herbal and nutritional protocols for prevention and support.
I am also excited that we will take a little extra time this month to introduce a new topic! We will start a broader discussion on the Southern blood types and their role in traditional energetics and herbal assessment techniques. This will serve as a "first step" towards future classes on physical examination such as pulse, tongue & face assessment skills. Reading the blood allows us to pair herbs more closely with a person's constitution and presentation, and makes us better, more effective herbalists.
Class is $10, I will be sending out emails with all needed handouts, PPTs and/or links before class on 2/16, and that email will also include the Zoom link so that you can join class live. If you are unable to join the live class but are interested in attending, please RSVP anyway! Send us an email at syracusehsg@gmail.com after you buy your ticket and let us know you would like the class recording to be emailed to you. You will still get all handouts and files, and can view the recorded class at your leisure :)Â
