SHSG February 2022: Aromatics

Hi all!

As we continue our dive into herbal energetics, we will be following up our conversation a few months ago about astringents with a discussion of aromatics. Similar to "astringent", the definition of "aromatic" begins with a taste: and from that taste we are able to deduce so much about a plant's properties and how it works in the body, including information about the six tissue states and bigger energetic principles. Again, understanding these energetic foundations allows us to graduate from "use this for that" herbalism to a real genuine comprehension of patterns in the plants and in ourselves. 

For now, our monthly study group classes will be help as livestream events on Zoom only, of course with the option to buy the recording to watch later at your leisure. All tickets are $10, regardless of option chosen. These changes have been made as a response to rising COVID cases during the recent surge of the Omicorn variant.
