About the Event
Hi everyone!
OK, we are going to go ahead and start our Summer plant walk series! Please join us for a 2 (ish) hour walk during which we will identify wild medicinal plants, discuss their uses, the ways they can be made into medicine and when and how they should be gathered. This is a completely free event! All you need is you, a notebook, some close-toed shoes and your questions and experiences.
We welcome and cater to ALL levels of herbal and botanical knowledge and learning, please join us and join the conversation on plant medicine!
DIRECTIONS: we are going to walk at the Radisson Community Gardens in Baldwinsville. This area is a mix of open field, “edges” and woods, so we get a little of everything! You are welcome to park on the road at the gardens, which is located on Drake’s Landing Rd between Field’s End Drive and Glacier Ridge Rd. You’ll know you’re there when you see all the fencing around everyone’s veggie garden plots! You can also park at the park on Glacier Ridge Rd and easily walk over. Please FB message me if you get lost and I’ll help!
***Please keep in mind that this group actively supports social distancing and responsible gathering during the COVID pandemic, despite the fact that group gatherings outside are now deemed acceptable. We will be adhering to distancing guidelines and keeping 6 feet apart at all times. I will be wearing a mask while teaching, and I encourage others to do the same.***
