SHSG June 2022 Woods Walk

Join us as we welcome you back to the plant walk season!

This month, as usual, we start in the woods to talk about the amazing native species there that are blooming now. Meet us at Baltimore Woods in Marcellus to discuss plant identification strategies, medicinal uses, botany and wild gathering do's and don't's. Our plant walks are always free, always open to the public, and this month will be hosted by herbalists Lauren Eadline and Amanda Wells.

Masks are optional at this outdoor event. We welcome participants to wear masks if they feel more comfortable doing so, and social distancing is encouraged. Please come prepared for hiking - long pants and closed toed shoes are encouraged as we continue to protect ourselves from ticks. Bring a notebook, your stories and your knowledge to share!
