SHSG March 2021: Tulsi Tulsi!
Time & Location
About the Event
Hi everyone and welcome to our next "plant in depth" installment of Syracuse Herbal Study Group! This month we will be looking at Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil.
Tulsi is an herb in the Ayurvedic herbal system but has been naturalized here both in cultivation and medicinal use. A mild adaptogen, a mint and an incredible ally for both mental health and metabolism, this powerful plant is one to know! Join us as we look at historical uses, modern patterns of use, energetics, indications, magical properties and scientific studies. We will include notes on formulation, recipes and other fun ways to use this amazing plant.
Class is $10, I will be sending out emails with all needed handouts, PPTs and/or links before class on 3/23, and that email will also include the Zoom link so that you can join class live. If you are unable to join the live class but are interested in attending, please RSVP anyway! Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org after you buy your ticket and let us know you would like the class recording to be emailed to you. You will still get all handouts and files, and can view the recorded class at your leisure :)
Come join the conversation!
