SHSG Nov 2022: Fine Points of Formulation

Im exciting to welcome everyone back for a brand new concept for our study group!

This month, we are going to discuss how to choose the kind of medicine we make with herbs - when is a syrup appropriate? How do you know if a tincture or a tea is going to be more effective? Are there certain herbs that just don't work well externally? If you are a medicine maker or aspiring medicine maker, this class is for you! We will go over the goals of formulation, how to choose carrier methods, strategy and medicine making technique. 

While we won't be making medicines in class, we will have plenty of samples, along with presentation, handouts and time for Q&A.
