SHSG October 2021: Astringents

Happy Fall, everyone!

And with the changing leaves, the cooler temperatures (sort of) and the blooming asters comes our return to in-person, discussion based group meetings. Thank you everyone for another great plant walk season, lets go study together until next June!

This October, please come join us as we discuss herbal astringents. This will be the first in a collection of group studies scattered throughout the year that will focus on the six tissue states and sharpening skills with herbal energetics and constitutional medicine. Astringents are a great introduction to these concepts if you are new to them because they are a fairly straightforward group of plants, and the tissue state they correspond to is a common one especially in allergy/cold/flu/COVID season.
