SHSG October 2024: Medicine Making Basics

Welcome back to our discussion-based class series everyone! It was lovely to see so many new and returning faces during our plant walks this Summer, and because there were so many great questions about medicine making, I thought we'd launch into a new class season with a session on the basics and fundamentals of a few different formulations.

Just in time for busy medicine making season of cold/flu/COVID, we will discuss how to make tinctures, oils and syrups using the traditional folk methods used for generations. We will start with background and discussion, lead into some demos and end with a Q&A. Everyone will go home with recipes and a sample!
